The information you provide during onboarding (name, birth year, height, weight, goal, availability and constraints), and the health data you allow us to read from Apple Health: workouts (including exercise minutes, distance, and — on devices that support it — power, cadence and post-workout heart-rate recovery), heart rate, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, VO₂max, respiratory rate, wrist temperature, sleep including its stages, weight and steps. We also store your chat messages with the coach, the strength log you report in chat, on your iPhone or on your watch (exercise, sets, reps and load), and your nutrition preferences (diet type, kosher/halal status, allergies and disliked foods) together with the food log you report (what you ate, and the estimated calories and protein).
If you start recording in Sakta on your watch, we ask to read heart rate, active energy and workouts, and to save workouts and active energy to Apple Health. Recording runs in the background during the workout. The workout is saved to Health only if you choose to save at the end; Apple Watch may retain sensor measurements even when you discard the workout. After synchronization and read permission on your iPhone, the workout is imported into Sakta and used for your plan and analysis according to your AI consent. Set logs are kept separately even without saving a Health workout. You can revoke permissions in Health settings. Deleting your Sakta account does not delete Apple Health workouts; you can delete those in Health.
Solely to build and adapt your training plan, analyze the workouts you complete, and let the coach answer you in context. There is no other use.
We do not sell your data, do not use it for advertising, and do not share it with third parties for marketing. Health data is never used for advertising.
The coach in chat and the plan-building are powered by Anthropic's (maker of Claude) language model. For this to work, we send Anthropic, through our server, exactly the information needed to answer or build: your chat content (including the first onboarding conversation — name, birth year, height, weight, goal and availability), your recent daily metrics as measured — not summarized (up to the last 14 days: sleep and its stages, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, respiratory rate, wrist-temperature deviation, steps, weight and active energy), trends computed from them (this week vs. the prior three), a summary of your workouts (time in each heart-rate zone, not every individual heart-rate sample), and your strength log (the last 56 days). When you use nutrition guidance, we also send Anthropic your nutrition preferences to build and filter a suitable menu for you. An allergy is sensitive health information, and we send it to Anthropic along with your other preferences — exactly like every other health data point listed here. This starts from your very first onboarding conversation, before you have a plan. The app has no way to send photos to the coach.
On our side: we only send Anthropic what's needed to answer you and build your plan — never for marketing, and never to share with another provider. Anthropic provides the AI engine under its own commercial terms, which include commitments about model training and how long data is kept; its full privacy policy is available at privacy.claude.com.
We record basic usage events (screens opened, steps completed, errors) to understand where the product falls short. In addition, questions asked in chat are automatically classified into topic categories (e.g. "plan question", "pain") to improve the coach. These analyses are reviewed in aggregate; they are never used for advertising and never shared with third parties.
Progress photos you take are stored on your device only and are never uploaded to our server.
Purchase, billing and renewal of the subscription are handled entirely by Apple through your App Store account. We never see or store your payment details; Apple only tells us the subscription status (active/cancelled/expired) so we know which features to enable.
Data is stored in a cloud database (Cloudflare D1). All traffic is encrypted (HTTPS). API keys are held server-side only and never in the app.
From the app's Settings screen you can export all of your data as a JSON file at any time, or delete your account — deletion permanently removes all of your data from the server and cannot be undone.
